Balances not paid by the payment deadlines will be assessed a $50 Late Fee

Summer Semester Holidays

The Atlanta Bursar's Office will be closed on:

  • May 28th - Memorial Day
  • July 4th - Independence Day

Other Important Information

  1. Beginning Spring 2011 term, refund checks will be ordered after the drop/add period and then mailed. All students whose financial aid is complete should expect to receive their checks 7-10 days after the check is ordered. Please verify that your billing /permanent address is correct in order to avoid any possible delays in receiving your check. To update your address information, please contact the Registrar’s office.
  2. If you have existing health insurance and you would like to have your insurance premium waived, you can do this through Pearce and Pearce. All waiver information must be completed by 6-1-12. No charges can be waived after this date!
  3. Credit card payments can now be made through My Mercer. Beginning August 1, 2010, payments for tuition and fees using MasterCard, American Express and Discover will be assessed a 2.75% convenience fee for each transaction. Also as of this date, Visa credit and debit cards will no longer be accepted for payment of tuition and fees, and credit cards will not be processed by the cashiers. All credit card payments must be completed online through My Mercer. The increasing expense of bank fees has made this change in policy necessary.  E-check payments can be made through My Mercer for free.
  4. Check out the new tuition rates for 2012-2013.
  5. Students are urged to familiarize themselves with Mercer's Refund Policy when considering a schedule change or withdrawing from courses. 
  6. Deferred Payment Plan payments for the fall semester are due 6/5/12.
  7. All housing fees will be billed along with tuition.  Payment is due by the first official day of class.  If you would like to pay your housing and tuition fees on a monthly basis please check out our Monthly Payment Plan.
